Why do I have to upgrade to the new version of Bundler POS integration?

On February 28, 2025, Shopify plans to deprecate POS app links, meaning the current Bundler POS integration will need to be replaced with the Bundler POS UI extension.

 

If you're currently using the Bundler POS integration to apply bundle discounts in Shopify POS, then you will need to update your Bundler tile to the new POS UI extension as soon as possible, preferably by February 28, 2025. We highly recommend updating well before the deadline to prevent any disruptions to your POS workflow.

 

This update allows Bundler app to work natively within Shopify POS for a smoother and more seamless experience, as the new integration allows Bundler app to apply discounts automatically after you open the app in POS.

Here is how to do it:

  • Open the Shopify POS app,
  • click on the Add tile button,
  • click on Apps,
  • click on Bundler - Product Bundles
  • and then click on the second list item, which says Check for Bundler discounts.

And here is how to use the Bundler app in Shopify POS:

  • Add products to the cart,
  • click on the Bundler app icon/tile and wait for the app to check if any of the bundle discounts can be applied,
  • if any discounts can be applied, then the app will apply the discounts automatically.
